Rance has worked within the resources industry for over 24 years with experience in the petroleum and minerals industries globally, including acting as CFO & Co-Sec for Extract Resources Ltd from it’s ASX junior listed inception up until being taken over by Chinese interests for over A$2B.
Predominantly working in capital markets, financial and governance roles within a small team environment where having the constant exposure to all facets of exploration and commercial operations has given Rance substantial knowledge from the coal face and at all other levels of the exploration business. Rance is now using his broader skill set in taking up the position of CEO to run all aspects of a rapidly emerging dual focus energy business.
Phil Thick
Non-Executive Chairman
Phil has over 35 years’ experience as a senior executive in oil and gas, mining and chemical processing spanning small to multi-national public and private companies. He also has extensive experience on many boards and has chaired many of them for extended periods.
He enjoyed a 20-year career with Shell, both within Australia and overseas and for the last three he was on the board of Shell Australia as Downstream Director. This was followed by five years as a director and CEO of Coogee Chemicals, then four as CEO of New Standard Energy drilling exploration and production wells in the Canning Basin in WA and in Texas.
He is a Non-Exec Director of ASX listed companies Lithium Australia and Patriot Lithium and Chairs the board of private mineral sands company TiGa Minerals and Metals.
Vitaly is an independent consultant in the area of Natural Hydrogen and Hydrocarbons exploration and production technology, and field data acquisition. His experience in operational processes' establishment and optimisation was gained during twenty eight years of employment for global major and independent Field Service providers.
Vitaly holds a MSc Degree in geology and geochemistry from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Currently, on a PhD program with the Curtin University in Belmont, WA.
Trinity Nofal
Corporate Finance / Non-Executive Director
Trinity gained her experience in Corporate Finance as an Associate Director at RFC Ambrian Limited (RFC Ambrian). With a specific focus on the natural resources sector, Trinity has demonstrated exceptional expertise in analysing and advising on various aspects of the industry. Throughout her tenure at RFC Ambrian, Trinity was involved in strategic reviews, IPO’s and mergers and acquisitions within the natural resources space. She excelled in conducting comprehensive market research, due diligence, and financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and provide insightful recommendations to clients.
Trinity is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Martin Spivey
Manager Exploration / Business Development
Martin is an experienced and globally recognised geologist with broad global exploration, evaluation and mining experience on multiple commodities. His most notable achievement is being responsible for the discovery of the +500 million pound U3O8 Husab uranium deposit in Namibia for ASX listed Extract Resources Ltd, skyrocketing the company to a $2B valuation.
With experience with hard-rock and petroleum systems discovery and assessment, Martin is now focused on the potential for discovery and commercialisation of Natural Hydrogen in Western Australia and elsewhere.
Jeff Schrull
Manager Petroleum Projects
Jeff has over 30+ years in all aspects of the upstream E&P industry with a strong focus on delivering growth through the drill bit. Most recently Jeff was the Group Executive of E&A at Beach Energy in Adelaide during the transformational years of 2017-2021. Prior to this he held the position of GM of E&P at Cue Energy in Melbourne.
Jeff previously held several senior international roles with Chevron over a 19 year period, and was subsequently at Addax Petroleum as the Corporate GM of Exploration. He has a strong track record in creating and delivering growth through exploration, development, operations and M&A.
Callum McIntyre
Business Operations Manager
Callum has extensive experience in the finance and technology industries, both in Australia and overseas. Previously based in London with internationally renowned group Thomson Reuters, he started his career in Product Management. He relocated back to Australia in 2019 working in Sydney and now Perth. He has broad experience with operational strategy and optimisation as well as product design and digital marketing.
Callum holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia majoring in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics. He completed a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance majoring in Corporate Finance, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD)
